In a compelling interview, Dr. Aminu Waziri, the former acting chairman of Malumfashi LGA and ex-head of Katsina State Emergency Management Agency, condemned both the ruling APC and opposition PDP, asserting true Nigerian patriots cannot stay with either party.

Waziri, who has been a key player in the APC since its inception in 2015, expressed his deep disillusionment after years of unfulfilled promises and stagnation. "After eight years of hoping for improvement, all we witnessed was regression," he stated, addressing the unkept pledges to the people of Katsina.

Despite his long-standing loyalty to former Governor Aminu Bello Masari, Waziri revealed his growing frustration. "I remained out of respect for Governor Masari, but after our second term, it became evident our advice fell on deaf ears."

Notably, he highlighted that he never sought political power, taking on roles under pressure while maintaining his academic responsibilities. "I resisted for six months before accepting the Permanent Secretary role; my record speaks for itself," he stated, reflecting on his contributions as a public servant.

Waziri emphasized his achievements as acting chairman of Malumfashi, where he completed 28 vital projects in just 15 months. He challenged the effectiveness of both parties, asking, "In eight to ten years of APC rule, has there been progress or decline?"
